Xiaomi's Mi 3 smartphone went out of stock on e-commerce retailer Flipkart, after just 39 minutes of going

on sale on Tuesday. The Chinese smartphone has made a debut in Indian market with an exclusive sales

tie-up with Flipkart for Mi 3.  The two companies did not disclose the number of units sold. Flipkart

claimed to have received 100,000 registrations for the phone between July 15 and 21, when they

provided a 'one week registration window'.

Xiaomi Mi 3 has excellent specs that could indeed make it a hot-selling budget  smartphone, outstripping the

demand for segment best-seller Motorola Moto G.

Mi 3 has a 5-inch Full HD display and runs on a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800  processor with 2GB

RAM. It is powered by Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Xiaomi's  proprietary MIUI skin on top. It packs 16GB

internal storage, but does not support storage expansion via microSD cards.

It sports a 13MP camera with dual-LED flash on the back and a 2MP camera in front.

Connectivity suite of the smartphone consists of 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0,  microUSB 2.0 and NFC. It

has a 3,050mAh battery, and Xiaomi claims that the smartphone can deliver talk time of up to 21 hours on

3G networks.

While battling cancer, the only wish that Pangcoga, had was to say “I Do” to his long-time girlfriend Leizel. The time was so short that this wish had to be fulfilled in the hospital itself. And, 10-hours after the wedding, the groom passed away.
